Written from different perspectives from different times, Echo is about a harmonica that is passed between people, helping them get through their lives. Their stories intertwine in a gorgeous mosaic as the magical harmonica enters first Otto, and then Friedrich in Germany, Mike in Pennsylvania and Ivy in California's life.

I first picked up this book at the airport, before a flight, and spent the entire 6 hour flight finishing the book. I was so engrossed in how beautifully everyones stories came together in the end, as if pulled by the invisible string of destiny and their suspenseful solo stories converged in an orchestral crescendo.

The Mysterious Benedict Society

Filled with clues, enigmas and puzzles, codes and mysteries, The Mysterious Benedict Society is a great read for lovers of mystery. This story goes beyond mere adventures, as four abnormal children with unusual capabilities band together for a dangerous mission.

They have to go into the belly of the beast as they enter a school taught by the diabolical villain they're supposed to stop. Wit A LOT of close calls, this book will keep you on your toes as you try to guess what'll happen next. With plot twists at every corner, this book is like creeping up creaky attic stairs in the dark, trying not to wake anyone up...

Becoming Michelle Obama

Becoming by Michelle Obama is a wonderful read, and a great non-fiction book to add to your reading list. The book is a detailed description of Michelle's childhood and journey to becoming First Lady of the United States.

Truly an inspiration for young girls and boys everywhere, filled with hope and good advice, and beautifully written.
